Deuteronomy 10:13-15

¹³ and observe his^[a] commands and statutes that I’m commanding you today for your own good. ¹⁴ You see, heaven—even the highest heavens—belongs to the Lord, along with the earth and all that is in it, ¹⁵ yet the Lord committed himself to love your ancestors—and did so! He chose you—their descendants after them—from all the nations, as it is^[b] today.
